Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) is a process through which the Police, Probation and Prison Service work together with other agencies to manage the risks posed by violent and sexual offenders living in the community.
The aim of this website is to keep the public informed on how violent and sexual offenders are managed by agencies. The public should be reassured that agencies involved in MAPPA are working closely together, by co-ordinating information and practices to ensure that resources are best directed to enhance public protection
